Our primary goal is to provide a safe and secure environment for our patients and staff. We understand this is a stressful time, but we are dedicated to still providing a comfortable and safe experience at our office. We have modified our pre-treatment, treatment and post treatment protocols to align with the protocols set by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), American Dental Association (ADA), and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
Here is what to expect when visiting our office: The patient may call the office from their car or come into the threshold of the office to announce their arrival. Once in the threshold, please ring the doorbell inside. A clinician in full personal protection equipment will greet you at the door and will screen for COVID-19 symptoms or risk factors and ask that you apply a hand sanitizer. Patients will be provided with a mask if they do not have their own. We have a limited intake of patients to minimize patient interaction in the waiting room. Patients will be asked to rinse with hydrogen peroxide before treatment. Patient is to keep mask on until treatment begins. Once treatment ends, patient is to put mask back on. All operating dental staff will be wearing N95 masks with a protective surgical mask, gloves, face shields, and disposable gowns. These are disposed of after each patient’s appointment. All exposed surfaces are disinfected in the operatory after each patient visit. Air filtration units with HEPA filters are in the operatories to clean the air and remove 99.97% of airborne particles including bacteria and viruses. HVAC system is treated with a high efficiency air filtration. Office equipment is frequently sanitized and disinfected.
Our Staff protocol: Temperatures and COVID-19 symptom screening of all staff members daily. Masks are worn at all times. Hand hygiene with washing and hand sanitizers are used throughout the office. Designated work scrubs and shoes. Scrubs are cleaned and laundered routinely. Staff adheres to social distancing in and outside of the office.
